Participants of this course will be examining, in-depth, music from the Baroque Era to the present time.

Music Theory

Instructor: TBA

This course gives students an excellent overview of the theoretical understanding of music. The class begins with fundamentals, and evolves into counterpoint and harmony in order to better understand how the vertical and horizontal dimensions of music interact. This course also introduces students to various procedures of music analysis so as to make a connection between theory and performance.

Adult Voice Class

Topics of this course will include posture, breathing, production, how to cure stage fright, and how to practice.

Appreciation of Music

Participants will be exploring music from the all different times and places throughout the world. This is a two semester sequence of classes designed especially for home schooled students. The course is held each semester at 1:00pm on Mondays.

Jazz Improv

This course is designed to improve your jazz improvisation skills and can be taken for any instrument.

Composition

This course is designed to tap into the student's creativity, as well as learn the process of composing one's own music.
