| 6 | Guest Artist Series Concert - 7:00 PM Lawrence Leviton, cellist and other guests Program: Barber's Adagio for Strings Gabriel's Oboe from The Mission composed by Ennio Morricone Theme From Schindler's List-by John Williams. Other Selections by Mendelssohn, Bloch, Kreisler, and Chopin. Some of the music is inspired by Jewish themes and others are music of great spirit and emotion. Sponsors are: Mt. Sinai Congregation, The UW-Stevens Point Department of Music and the Wausau Conservatory. Proceeds from a free-will offering at the concert will benefit the Mt. Sinai Congregation. |
