

The inspiration is a classic story I composed in my head about a young lady in a country cottage, sitting late night at a candle lit table missing her long lost beloved.
Just as she is about to drown her sorrows in a glass of absinthe, her long lost beloved appears below in the moonlight, serenading her with his violin. If you look closely, you can see them walking off in the moonlight hand in hand as a warm summer breeze blows and a luna moth flies out the cottage window celebrating her mistress' joy.

Carrie Lang has over 20 years of experience as an airbrush and fine artist specializing in realism, wildlife and fantasy art. Carrie grew up south of Stevens Point in the middle of a prairie chicken wildlife refuge and received her Bachelor's Degree in forestry from UW-Stevens Point in 1994. She now lives in Tomahawk, WI, with her husband and two cats. Carrie is a full-time professional artist with her business, King Lang Art and Airbrushing and she moonlights as a substitute teacher in the high school and as a landscape designer in the summer. When not hard at work, her hobbies include: motorcycle riding, bowhunting, religious studies, perennial gardening, and sewing gothic Victorian clothing.
