When I saw this gorgeous cello, I knew I couldn't merely use it as a canvas and cover up the innate beauty and artistry by its original maker. This involved much loving and laborious sanding and lacquering. I was born in 1969. The things that imprinted upon me were Andy Warhol, Coca-Cola, Pop Rocks, Peter Maxx, and Christopher Reeve as Superman. I look at things graphically and saw a person in this cello. The result is 'Transformative by Nature.' Music is power. It has the power to change a mood, quell a soul and light up the world. Illuminated from within, this is the ultimate night light for a music lover.

Heidi's Background: Maybe you have wondered about that curious little bungalow on Stewart Avenue. Well, wonder no more. For the last 14 years Heidi Garski has made it her haven. She is an award winning freelance fine art photographer and artist. At an early age she became attached to a Polaroid camera and from there, things just spiraled out of control into the realm of digital media where she is currently seeking another degree. Her work has appeared in national juried shows and has been purchased for private collections. She has a B. A. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a serious addiction to chili garlic sauce.
