Wayne studied vocal technique in the Bel Canto method with Harris Balko. He taught K-12 vocal music for two years in the Cashton Public Schools and was director of the award-winning Antigo High School choirs for thirty-one years. In addition to directing the Antigo Choirs, Wayne directed twenty five musicals and is a veteran of over three decades of District and State Contests. Wayne joined the faculty of the Conservatory in the fall of 2004.
