Member of National Association of Teachers of Singing; New York Metropolitan Opera District Auditions Finalist and twice winner of the Kress Foundation Award; National Association of Teachers of Singing Award Winner; professional experiences includes opera, oratorio, musical theater, recital and conducting. Scott's major voice teachers include David Hottman, William "Chip" Madsen, Carol Knell and his father C. Scott Hunsberger.

His opera training was from Goldovsky proteges Karlos Moser and William Madsen. Other important influces include: Bruce Benward, Leon Smith, Arthur Becknell, Marjorie Gerson and Oren Brown.

Mr. Hunsberger's teaching experience include: voice faculty positions at University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and UW - Green Bay where he taught studio voice, class voice, French diction for singers, Music Appreciation and conducted the Unievsrity Chorus.

Mr. Hunsberger's performance include: Guglielmo, Gianni Schicchi, Don Giovanni, Melchoir, Orestes, Papageno, The Mightly Casey, Top. We was featured in the world premiere of "Follow Me Where". His major Oratorio solo performances include: Dona Nobis Pacem - Vaughn Williams; Requiem - Mozert; Carmina Burana - Orff; Messiah - Handel; German Requiem - Brahms; Seven Last Words of Christ - Dubois; King David - Honneger; C Minor Mass - Beethoven; The Seasons - Haydn. Scott has performed with the Green Bay Symphony, Wausau Symphony and Band, Lakeshore Chorale - Oshkosh Chamber Singers, Wausau Chamber Singers, Wausau Pro Musica and Pamiro Opera.

Scott joined the WCM artist faculty during the 1990/91 school year.
