Financial Aid
The Conservatory offers financial aid to qualifying students in the form of reduced tuition. Financial aid, based on need, is determined using a sliding scale that considers family financial resources and number of dependents. Annually applications are due by mid- July before the fall semester. However, additional requests can be made throughout the year. Awards are given annually and good for both the fall and spring semesters. Aid is given for lessons, classes and ensembles.
Work-Study Program
Tuition assistance may be earned by students willing to work as accompanists, receptionists, ushers, stage managers, or in other necessary jobs. Please consult the Administrative Office for available positions.
Performance and Merit Scholarships
Each year scholarships, applicable to one year of private instruction, are awarded to superior students by competition. Competitions are held for current Conservatory students during the spring semester and the award applies to the following year of study. Interested students should contact their private teachers for applications, and audition dates.
School Scholarships
Students are encouraged to check with their music departments to see if their school offers scholarships to study at the Conservatory.
